16 months

This little guy here is now 16 months old. He  copies everything he hears and likes everything what her sister do. He loves  cars. Wait, that is an understatement. He is inLOVE with cars and planes. He can  watch a full episode of Top Gear unlike me, who after five minutes is itching to  switch channels. This little guy makes me crazy most of the time and melts my  heart in between :) 16 months of smiles and laughter. 16 months of cuddles and  kisses. I just love this little guy to the highest  level!

4:51am

It’s 4:51 am right now and I just finished this layout. This has been sitting in my hard drive for a week and I promised myself to finish it or else I will just completely forget to document this. It’s supposed to be an attachment to the Literacy Week post but I was too busy to scrap so I just opted for Fei’s pictures. Anyways, I woke up at 4am and with sleepy eyes I started to work, edit and type. It was easy to finish because it is so quiet. It’s kinda eerie because the quietness is so deafening except for some occasional speeding motorcycles outside. So, I’m done and I still have more than hour to spare before my day starts. I guess Facebook is the answer. Or Pinterest.

Literacy Week

The other day I went on leave to attend Fei’s Story Telling Competition at her school. Sadly, she did not win. She was very upset about it and she cried when she saw me waved at her. She quickly ran towards me and said she wanted the golden trophy. We have been reassuring her from the start that even though she doesn’t win, that we are already proud of her for representing her class. We have been telling her that as long as she do her best, that is enough for us. Fei is a bit emotional when it comes to losing on a game or any contest. I hope that this is just a phase that she can quickly overcome. Sometimes it bothers me that she gets upset easily when losing even on small friendly games. Do you have this kind of feeling too? Any moms out there who has the same situation with me?
Also, the day before this competition, she represented her class for the Spelling Bee. The results I still have to find out from her teacher because Fei’s explanation was a bit confusing. I think their Spelling Bee contest is different from what I have thought. This week has been nerve racking for me as a parent. I think I was more pressured than her. Imagine to memorize so many words! I think I’ll pass out if I were at her place!

Happy Sunday Freebie

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! Almost everyone in the world is having their free time today but, here in the Mid East, it’s our first day of the week. Also, it’s a special day today because it’s hubby’s birthday and what better way to celebrate it than a freebie!

To my Bebe, Happy, happy birthday! Thank you for being so awesome in every way. You know that I love you more in every passing day, right? Hmmm… that sounded like a greeting card. But, you know that is true. Love you, sweetie!

Lazy Friday Night

As I am writing this, my youngest is running around the house like he ate a kilo of sugar. I don’t know where he gets his energy but I am amazed because he looks like he doesn’t even get tired at all. Sometimes, I do wish I have that kind of energy for the whole day so I can do everything I want.

Well, it’s a lazy Friday night here and we just had our shawarma dinner. I thought that I should share my latest layout. Its about the little monster :) It’s a good day when I get to finish a scrap page. I hope you’re having a great weekend!
