The New Year is almost here!!!

Can you feel it? Can you smell it??? New Year is just 15 hours away!!! I can almost touch it! We will just celebrate it at home and see the fireworks from our tv. Fei is not a fan of noise :) She likes the lights though.

2008 has been a blast for me. It was a great year! I think the highlight of it was being able to join Oscraps. (Oscraps is the best!!! They are my 2nd family) I have finally able to do what I love. Designing has always been my passion and its very rewarding especially when people appreciate what I do. Lots of opportunities came and I hope it would continue this 2009. There is one project that im really looking forward to this coming year but I still cant reveal it. Im really excited about it!!! So, just wait for that. :) Im really grateful for all the blessings that I had. There were down moments too but it was nothing compared to all the good things that I received. I am thankful that my family is with me and they are healthy. I am thankful that even though the economy is not doing good especially in construction, me and dh still have our jobs. Goddbye 2008! and 2009… Im ready for yah!!! :)

I am not pregnant. Just want to make that clear :) This is Fei. My first ultra sound. An unforgettable moment. Life inside of me. How amazing is that!?!?! So, I finally scrapped it because at last! I found the perfect wordart for it!!!

This is very late, I know. If Amanda did not suggest it, I would have not started it. I am not tutor material. Im thinking that Ill just probably mess it up and confuse you. Haha! But, I think I did a good job. Hehe! This is the step by step tutorial for clipping your pictures or papers to the Different Strokes brushes. You can do this to other clipping masks as well. Amanda of TaylorMade Designs helped me in doing the tutorial for PSE users (Thanks A!!!) and I did the one for PSCS users. You can download this at Oscraps, free. You should be logged in to your account so you can download this. No need to add this to your cart.

Have you been to the Oscraps O So Happy???
You don’t want to miss this! It is one BIG HAPPY PLACE!!! The Oscraps Designers are just very generous and they are picking people randomly who post at the forums and win their stuff! Im gonna be happy if i win a whole kit!!! So just drop by, say hello and be happy!

Another thing to be happy is this coming Christmas!!! I still haven’t done my Christmas shopping. But I know now what to give hubby and Fei. One word to describe it: “ROCKIN’!!!” Hehe! Im going to buy it this weekend. Im still looking for the right design.

My week was always the same. Well I had dinner with friends last Thursday. Its always nice to have a girls night out don’t you think? Sometimes you just want to be with girls and thats it. Just talk about silly things and everything that makes us crazy! LOL! Ill post some pics next time :)

New layouts and Twilight ramblings

I have new layouts to share :) I got new pictures too of Fei and hubby which is really awesome because its been like ages since the last time I took pics of them together. So, be prepared of the same pics over and over again because Ill be using them often. Hehe!
Some ramblings first… about Twilight. I watched it. Yeah it was good because Robert was there. Hehe! Im a big fan of the book so I expected already that the book would be better. But, at least they should have taken the real situation about the meadow scene. Maybe they could have prolonged it a bit. And why is there no blood typing? And the scene where Bella faints because of Edward’s kiss. That would have been really nice to see :) And they could have added the line “Do I dazzle you?” Oh well, it was ok. Going to see it again. Ha! Maybe it would be better the 2nd time :) And now for my layouts… TFL!
